About Waters Contracting

The originator and owner Paul Waters established his business in 1985. In 1993, a decision was made to have a more professional look by a name change to Waters Contracting. With this name change the company became a full service landscape company, providing design, installation, maintenance, and management of landscapes. 
Paul attend classes at Davis County U.S.U. Extension Service Master Gardner program and graduated as a Master Gardner. A commitment was made to continue education by joining local associations and attending their seminars. This includes attending over 15 hours of annual training at the Green Conference and over 15 hours of other training each year. This additional training prepare the owner, Paul in 2001 to be the first contractor in the state of Utah to receive certification from the national Irrigation Association. 
With changes of the company more services where added and employees hired. The company grew to have 12 employees in 2001. In 2002 a decision was made to operate the company as a family business with fewer employee. With this change the owner, Paul could be on the job working with the customer. He is assisted by is 2 sons, Tyson and Bryce and 2 daughters, Ashley, and Emily and his wife Marshelle in the daily operations of the business.
